Ahhh, Moonlight Buttress. I have made three attempts to climb thee, and three attempts is all I’m left with. This photo album is some shots of me during a solo attempt (the ill-fated attempt where I was thwarted by overcrowding, and then fell in the river and destroyed my camera), and some shots of me and Mr. X during a May trip.
Soon I shall return and finish the beast. I don’t know about soloing though- every one of my aid solo trips has ended 2-3 pitches up, as that’s about when I tend to run out of motivation and energy (I know, next time I’ll pack more of both). So, another day will dawn, and it will find me scampering up Moonlight yet again. In the meantime, enjoy the pictures.
