The latest French pop sensation!

For those of you that were just so on beyond excited about the last musical genius from France that I posted about, I have a new sensation for our adoration. Again, this comes from my wonderful French class (yes, this is what I do for 1/2 my day every day). This song in particular is useful in studying the Imparfait- a verbal tense that describes actions in the past where the emphasis is not on the start/end of the action but instead on the repeated, ongoing or incomplete nature of the action. You know.

Anyway, the song seems to be about growing up and the all the cool things they used to do as kids before they got old and a drain on their national health care system. As if these 20-somethings could be considered old. HA!

I’m working on a full translation tonight; I’ll post it once I get around to getting something sensible out of it. Enjoy!
