New stinky summit in San Rafael Swell
This weekend saw another wonderful trip down to the San Rafael Swell, smack dab in the middle of what else, the southern Utah desert. This summit came at the close of the weekend, on the way back to Salt Lake City, and is located next to a nice panel of pictographs and etchings in the middle of Buckhorn Wash. If you zoom in really closely, you can see some on the wall behind the cars.
Peace, love, and summits galore,

You look so happy. I just got back from a weekend in Zion, and oh what a happier place the world could be if everyone got a weekend in the fall in the UT dessert. Then again, it would probably be ruined with so many people there, so never mind, masses of the world, you don’t really need a breathtakingly colored landscape, perfect temperature, clean air, quiet sand filled days of roaming. Really. Let some spaces stay UT’s little secret.
